VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via street information stands and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in a published overview.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large news euros public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
